The VIN stamp is upside down.

This pad was recently discussed on the NCRS TDB and the consensus was that it is most likely original. Many upside down stamps have been documented as original.

Nice car but I doubt it had a restoration 3 years ago by the total appearance both inside and out ( and under).

From what I have read and heard in my very limited experience, I don't think there is any way to assess validity at all when the pad has a heavy coat of chevy orange paint on it. Certainly without any question though, we can see the vin derivative is upside down.

Maybe the guys that were actually there can chip in, but with the VIN stamp upside down, wouldn't that mean the whole car was going backwards down the assembly line?
