Diferential Numbers ID
Hey gang
Dropped the rear end on the 66 last night Can someone ID the numbers on the housing for me?
AN 4-21-66 IS THIS THE BUILD DATE?
Also numbers 3871375 and 3878478 N
Any assistance would be appreciated

Here are the numbers and decode for my 67 rear end. Don't have my book handy but you are on the right track.
AM 6 5 67 (AM= 3.36:1 Positraction , 6 5 67 =date of June 5, 1967 )

I didn't think there was a year designation after the month and day. I thought after the day was the plant designation ( W-Warren etc)?

I believe you are referring to the POP where the plant is identified. Here is a picture of my POP and under vehicle serial number is the rear end info with the W for the Warren plant.

No, it wasn't the POP, it was the housing by the cover I was referring to but thanks for the info, a picture is worth a thousand words.
