Default Complete Wiring

Time to order wiring for my 66. All harnesses are to be replaced. Non-standard will be ignition, alternator, voltmeter, battery location, tail lights and HID headlights. I am thinking that modifying a stock harness woul be preferable to having a custom harness made, but I am open to hearing other's experiences. Names I have seen mentioned are Lectric Limited, Ron Francis, ISIS, and Current Performance.

Any comments or experiences would be appreciated.

Buy it from Willcox they sell Lectric Ltd at a better price.

Vogie, if I remember your project, you were going to be running a LS conversion?

I took a used F-Body harness to Jared at Current Performance, by the time I was done, he could have custom built it new for close to the same.

He is sorta local to you in New Port Richey, Fl.

Poor planning on my part, live and learn.

Any new updates on yours?

I've used both Lectric Limited and M & H. Both are equal in quality but on some harness', M & H is more correct when it comes to connectors, wire colors and bulb sockets.

I have redone both of mine with Lectric Limited. They have a great product. Most of the suppliers sell these harnesses, best bet is just to see who offers the best package price and be sure they are selling Lectric Limited.

Not a lot of progress. I have been gone quite a bit and have been doing other things that have pushed the Vette project back. Preparing to be forced into retirement by the FAA and am trying to get all the expensive stuff in the garage.

Old school street / strip car: GMPP 572, Gearstar level 4 200R4, Tom's 12 bolt & axles, etc. Will be MSD and one wire alternator, compact battery behind the passenger seat and other minor changes that will require cut and paste harness modifications.

Thanks for all the responses. You never know how advertising compares to reality.
