PG kickdown return spring?

PG kickdown return spring?
So for '56, does the PG kickdown upper assembly have a return spring of any kind or does everything just rely on the throttle return spring? I ask because my repro throttle return spring doesn't seem stiff enough to handle the job by it's self. Heck, even without the PG kickdown hooked up, the throttle still sticks every now and then.
