pad stamp decoder help

65 coupe, pad stamp reads F05 11 HC (no vin) any help appreciated

"HC" was a '65 or '66 327/250hp or 275hp Powerglide out of a full-size passenger car; the block casting date will tell you which one it is.

Any chance it's HO instead of HC? HO is 250hp, powerglide.

John Z is the one to believe. Looks like either way it's a 250 horse p/g.

no, it`s nice and clean and unfortunately stamped "HC" and resides here

About a quarter million of these were built and you're surprised?

You know, I know, and we all know how many of these were driven hard and put up wet and buying a $100 327 from a station wagon was much cheaper than rebuilding it back in the days when most still had a dirt floor in their garage.
