Coil condenser??
The condenser mounted to the coil bracket, it is strictly for RF suppression?
And which terminal does it hook to, the + side? I haven't had points for 35 years, and now i have to deal with a set

Positive terminal - strictly noise suppression. If you don't have a radio you don't have the capacitors.
