I was just reading an old post about silver with red interior being rare and a special order for 1967. I have a 65 vert that is silver pearl with red vinyl interior. Is it rare or did it have to be special ordered, i.e. COPO?

Thanks for your input.
Silver Pearl with Red interior was a color option in '65 and therefore not a COPO order paint / trim combo.

I believe silver/red was an available color option for 1963 through 1965 but not for 1966 or 1967.
From what I understand, that in 67 the silver/red combo was not a available color combination that year,But it could be ordered if the dealer did, what they called,"a color override" on the shipping order to get it. It wasn't really a copo color combo... A dealer in Mich, that also had a dealership in Fl found this out and ordered 10 of these cars, some in BB's and SB's and some in coupes and verts. He split the order up 1/2 went up north and the other 1/2 went down south..These are the only ones that made it from the factory in than color combination. It is a Beauiful combo.I'm having a BB coupe done now.
Did you guys ever see that 67 L-88 re-creation, it was a coupe, silver pearl, red interior, side pipes, rally's, redlines. It was beautiful, it was for sale on e-bay a couple of years ago. It was a job well done, maybe somebody here has it in their possesion.
