Performance help 67' 327/300

After 14 months of running perfectly,(hence my vanity plate) my roadster barely got me home today after a 30 mile ride. Starts and idles fine but as soon as you apply any gas in any gear it just falls on it face, like fuel starved. At first I thought of vapor lock, it was over 95 and very humid, but I let it sit for 3 hours and just took it out with the same results. It's a totaly stock 327/300 with all stock components. Fuel pump is 2 years old.....Any help or idea's would be appreciated!

My friend had to get towed home Friday night. He thought it was fuel so he walked to the nearest gas station, added the fuel but it did not help.
He said he drove about 15 minutes and the car acted like it was out of gas.
The car started right up Saturday morning and he drove it to my store.
I gave him a coil and told him to try it if it happened again.
Sure enough it stalled out on the way home, he installed the coil and it ran perfectly.
About 90% of fuel problems are ignition problems.
