Code AI

Doing research on alternator pulleys and came across this abbrev. that I did not recognize: "code AI as original." Can someone tell me what it means?

"AJ" is the broadcast code for the pulley/fan on a 693 alternator; don't recall offhand which one took the "AI" pulley/fan.

Here are photos of my 693 alternator and pulley(added by J.P.) restored by John Pirkle for my 67 L79. It has "AI"

OK, the "AJ" stamped one-piece pulley/fan is for the 300hp, and the "AI" machined pulley (and separate fan) is for the L-79 application; both use the same alternator.
