Almost ready to start the re-assembled '65.
Just wondering...the only ground strap on the engine was the one on the driver-side motor mount. The exhaust is side-pipes (no grounds like under car exhaust)
The strap on the accelerator/manifold hasn't been there for years.
The negative cable mounts on the starter bolt along with a wire from the starter harness(probably a ground-wire.)
Do I need any more? It ran fine for 44 years as is.
Thanks
The grounds at the accelerator arm, and exhaust pipes, are part of the radio system.
I believe if your car did not have a radio originally, it would have only had a single ground at the motor mount, plus the negative battery cable, and the ground strap just under the left A-pillar where the birdcage is grounded to the chassis.

that is correct. all the little copper ground straps are part of the U69 radio. look at your A.I.M.
I'd add a ground strap to the passenger motor mount.
Clean and check the negative battery cable connection at the engine, clean and check the ground strap under the left rocker panel near the A-pillar. That ground strap under the A-pillar is the only path to get ground from the chassis to the interior, instruments, and the rear of the car.
