Back when using the parts book NUMBER =part numbers ending in even number like 2-4-6-8- was a left part , numbers ending in un-even numbers like =13579 was a right part. You can still use that today when looking at a part having numbers in it at a swap meet.

It's just the opposite - where you have a pair of left and right-handed parts, the odd-numbered part is for the left (driver's) side, and the even-numbered part is for the right (passenger) side.

If I'm reading your query properly, LF means Left Front (driver side) and RF means Right Front (passenger side).
