After a rain filled trip to and from Carlisle this year decided that delay wipers were in my future. So far two different vendors have refunded my money after I placed an order because they can on longer get the product.
If anyones knows where I can get a kit please let me know.
One more question, has anyone installed the rain sensing wiper control on an old Vette?
I know J C Whitney used to carry them, because I installed one on an old '75 Bronco I had at the time - but that was close to 10 years ago. You might try checking them online.
I haven't put one on the '67 vette, since I never drive it in the rain.... out here in CA that doesn't limit me much! The Bronco was used in the Sierras - rain, snow fluries, etc. The delay unit worked pretty well as I recall, and was easy to install since the Broncos wiper motor and assembly was inside at the top of the windshield in a housing that was part of the headliner!
Good luck on your search!
PS - a Google search shows that JC Whitney does still list them, as well as several sellers on EBay.

Reason: addl info
I ordered from JC Whiney and AutoParts.com and both refunded my money saying that the part was no longer available. My guess is the manufacturer has stopped making them since all most every car since the '80s has had that feature.
I think I'll investigate the rain sensing set-up. that would be really cool on an old Vette.
