I use PPG DCC,single-stage urethane flattened to semi-gloss sheen. for a primer, I use PPG DP90 epoxy which is black as well.

I just get the DCC in Tuxedo Black, and it looks really good, and judges without any deducts. It is incredibly durable and last almost forever!

I believe that the PPG color code for Tuxedo black is 9300. In DCC, it would be DCC 9300. This is the same black the GM used for more years than I can remember. You will also need some DX-685 flattening agent to be added per the product info sheet to yield a semi-gloss sheen.
