Default Great technical reference website

Stumbled over this website while researching a proper amp gauge/alternator hookup for our 59. Very helpful, but did note that information on providing a wire shunt across your amp gauge posts was not shown. Other than that, the best description I've found on how to deal with the issue of replacing a generator with an alternator in old GM cars,,,,and also Ford or Chrysler

Many clearly and comprehensive written descriptions on many issues that confound us when working on our cars. The electrical section is particularly helpful.

Once you've checked in, the problem you may have is checking out in a timely manner.

I did do a search on our forum and did find it referenced some 3 years ago, so some of you may already know of it.
