He was sponsered by Edgewater Chevrolet and won the 69 Summernationals (not sure if was at Norwalk or Dragway 42). The car went through 2 different names, one being Mis(s) Fortune and the other being Nasty Glass. Ive got pics of the car and numerous trophies but I would love to see pics of the car today. GUSTO
Darn I can't seem to make this outdated picture go away! The Yellow 075 car is I believe a very good tribute! The blue car on the track is already pictured and is the Bast Chevrolet car! The Hussein car is 558 and not 551. I have them just typed in one thread, with the Axles I have figured out! There is one listed in the C2 Corvette Nolan book, and not exactly sure of that Cars color! I gave the experts two leads to a Green on Green Coupe owned by a guy named Afrika and a Red Black Roadster that used to advertise L88 pictures of his car for trade, for other enthusiasts car pics! This being the Faris car! Also there are 21 cars, 20 production and then the Prototype car is my opinion! So I think I have 18 vins plus the prototype. , 3 cars missing (2 with known Vins being the Nolan book car which is probably the Green car and the King Hussein car)! If I count the Prototype as one of the 20 like everyone else, then up my count by one! I am going to search down that first attempt picture to share! The sharing didn't go so good! I am a lowly 3-1/2 Corvette owner enthusiast who would rather hang with similar types with one heck of a literature collection, so one weekend I thought I would try to bang this out for the masses! But this picture was my first attempt, just to start the conversation. I deleted better and more accurate versions of this same picture format and didn't save it! But if you look up the thread with the Axles and my post, that was where I was when I last tried to make them public! Thanks for calling me an enthusiast that tried essentially a public registry! I actually haven't connected to everyone that I think is cool and sharing types, but I have a whole crap load of rare Corvette Vins now, since I essentially retired from here!

From the original posts

"I dont have any VIN #s for the car, sorry. I did however make a small mistake on paint. The car was originally Red but was painted Cadillac Firemist Green after he bought it. I would love to find the car. I have pics upon pics of the car along with numerous trophies he won. I havent told my dad about me looking for it. Im sure he would love to see it again. Ill contact that member that know where all the L88s are. Maybe I can get some sort of leadway to it. "

Also his post was from 6yrs ago. He may have found the car or just gave up as he was last here on the forum 3yrs ago.
