Default Almost Done!! (pics)

Haven't posted any pics lately. Got the grill, bumpers, and lights on this weekend. All that's left now is door panels and a few miscellaneous things. Should be driving it this week!! Sorry about the picture quality, didn't realize I had my camera on a lower resolution setting until just now.

Thanks!! As you can tell, I wasn't going for original, just how I wanted it. It has turned out even better than I expected. Can't wait to drive it!! I've been three years without a vette and it's been driving me nuts!!!

The car looks great. I did my bumpers a few weeks ago and I just finished the headlights today. I sure does feel good seeing it come together.

I am curious -- what is the other car in the garage with the tarp over it? The bumper looks like a mid-year.

I was wondering if anyone would notice that. That is my step dad's 67 convertible. He bought it brand new and still has it.(Had to buy it from his ex wife when they got divorced, but that's a whole different story.) It is a great feeling to finally see this car coming together. I am hopefully getting it registered tomorrow.

Looks great. I too like the BB hood. One year, I'll have to do some serious work on mine. Good job.

Bondo478,

Congratulations on getting the job done, It looks great and I'm sure you're going to enjoy it.

It's great when you finaly get to the end of that long resto and the feeling of bolting those last few pieces on is great.

When I get asked "when will the job be finished", I answer "when there's nothing left to do" .

Mine is still quite a few months off being finished but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Enjoy your "new" midyear!

Mark.

Thanks!! The color was actually my second choice but I'm really glad I picked it now. The 67 vert is what is still asleep in the garage.
