HELP HELP HELP HELP
Well I had been feeling a vibe. I took the driveshaft out and had it checked and rebalanced. Guy said it was off a little. So I figure I will wait and see. Well since I was there I would go over the brakes. All this so I can go to the beach weekend we have been waiting for. It's next Thursday and about 150 miles away. Anyway I turn the drum and feel a tight spot in the rear. So I did what all of you would have. I took the pumpkin out. Dam it. It has a tight spot in it. You can rotate it around and it gets slightly tight and lumpy at one spot. I don't see any damage to the gears or any parts :lol: No loose carrier bolts either. Oh yea the cage on the drivers axle bearing is gone too :rolleyes: Any Idea on what is wrong with the gear set??????? It's a 3.70 Posi. I have a open carrier to get me back on the road but want this one fixed. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
P.S. Any think to look out for with the axle bearing?

Lunch time update. On the rear it turns out to be a bad carrier bearing. Thanks to dad for being retired and home working on this. On the axle bearing I have a new one ordered and there just happens a shop owner works here during the day. He is comming over to see if he can remove the bearing and install the new one when I get it.
