Default C2 Head lights

Hello I have a question maybe someone on here can answer. When you pull the headlight switch are the lights supposed to roll up? I have the hardware to replace the switch and want to make sure that it is wired right. Thanks in advance.

not at all the rocker switch for the headlight doors are below the pullout ****. Screwed into the underside of the dash.

No, the light should shine on the road first then as it swings around, on the road. So the rotation is clockwise when on the drivers side looking across your hood. If the lights rolled up and the the light came on early you would end up blinding yourself

As stated, pulling the headlight switch simply turns on the headlights. In order to roll the buckets up or down, you have to use the addition switch mounted below the instrument cluster on the left side.

well in later years beginning with 1968 the headlight opening is activated by the headlight switch so turning the headlights on also opened the doors, we just happen to drive the more antique automobiles that every function has to be done separately ....
