Default Signal Light Problem

I have a '66 signal light problem. All parking light and brake lights function properly. Signal lights function properly except the front right. When the right turn signal is activated the front signal light does not illuminate or blink, the right turn dash light does not illuminate or blink, the right rear blinker does blink properly and at the proper speed. I swapped the left front signal light bulb to the right after determining it worked properly, no success. I have exhausted my limited knowledge.

On a whim, have you tried replacing the flasher?

It could be the plug on the wheel well...

Unplug it on the Wheel well and clean the terminals...its worth a try...

I would think the problem is in or around the turn signal switch. Sorry I can't be more help, but I"d read the voltage at the rf turn bulb when it should be flashing, if it's not there, I'd try at the turn signal switch and follow from there. The dark blue on the turn signal should go to the dash indicator bulb and the right front turn signal bulb. The voltage passes through the left hand firewall connector, too, so check that out. (Still dark blue wire). The rear turn signal works through the dark green wire by flashing the brake light. If I was doing the troubleshooting, I'd focus on the dark blue wire from the turn signal switch all the way up to the turn lamp. Please post back what you find.

Check the Harmonica connector at the base of the steering column. If you have loose wire there it can cause problems with the turn signals. Pilot Dan

Thanks for the input. I will start with the flasher, then steering column connections and then turn signal switch. The parking light asm was recently replaced. I will let you know what the out come.
