66 missing odometer gear
Freshening up the dash instruments on my 66 vert. The odometer has never worked since 1973, when I bought it, but the speedometer alway has. Upon exploring the issue, I noticed a gear "missing" on the end of the drive shaft at the odometer digits gear. No one seems to sell it. Looks like someone has taken it off, as there is nothing there, except for a serrated drive shaft end coming from the speedometer. I know I could have the unit rebuilt, and they may install that part, but I'm hoping for other options, ($). Maybe someone has a partial speedometer junker that has the part they might sell?
