Tech articles website
Many of you know that I've had up a Tech articles section on my personal website for a bunch of years now and many, many of the forum users here and on other forums have used it extensively.
The link to the Tech Articles section is here:

I've been busy with other areas of my life for the last year or so and unfortunately haven't had the time to keep the tech articles section as up-to-date as I had in the past including even rarely going onto my own site sometimes for weeks or a few months at a time.
I had to go on yesterday and immediately noticed a major issue that when I connected to my website Google was putting up a page warning users to stay off the site because of Malware that could damage your computer. It turns out that the site had been hacked and possible malicious files and/or scripts had been uploaded to the server. I don't know how long that has been like this, but i'd guess almost a month based on the date of the hacked files I found on the server.
I just wanted to let everyone that uses the Tech Articles know that this issue has been resolved.
As soon as I discovered the problem yesterday I immediately deleted every file off the server, re-exported and uploaded all brand new files of the entire website fresh onto the server so there is ZERO chance at all of the new files being at all compromised or hacked with any Malware. Google has already reviewed the website again and "cleared" it and their message page no longer pops up as a warning to stay off the site.
I apologize to all that may have tried to use the tech articles over the last few weeks or so that this problem existed and wanted to let everyone be aware that the problem is gone and full and SAFE access to the tech articles has been re-established.
As always, I hope you find the numerous tech articles I'm hosting up on the site helpful for your Corvette restoration or repair.
Too many clowns with too much technology and way too much time on their hands can make you miserable.
over 6 hours last night to delete and re-upload all of the website files because of one of those clowns.
Oh well, such is life

On another note.....the punks who have the time to do such juvenile SW hacking are the types I like to get my hands on. Right after the other/same punks that have time to steal gas caps etc....at Car Shows.
Dang it man,
RK
I have known of your tech site for 3 years, but had not visited in at least a year. Wouldn't you know I saw a note on some subject on your tech site last week on either the CF or the TDB, and took at look at your site last week..... So, this last weekend I realized that out of the blue I am receiving about 100 spam emails a day to my email address. I had no clue what I did to make that happen. Now I know. I would say that about half go into my Spam file, and the rest land in my inbox. What a pain. Sure wish I could make it stop. You are a guru. If you know what I can do to kill that crap, please share in a pm or a note here. As an aside, your tech articles have helped me several times and are much appreciated. Thanks for maintaining your site, and for scrubbing it when you found it had become contaminated.
Along with what's been said by others here, you deserve kudos for your effort in having gone the extra mile to make the website a great 'how-to' resource. The website has been a real boon in my resto effort to get my car where it is today.
A big
I hope the guy that hacked your site gets what’s coming… what goes around eventually comes around.
