Someone welded up the studs on my windshield channel and I think because of this, the metal contracted and the width of the channel is smaller than what it should be...ergo one of the reason I believe I cannot get my window in the channel no matter how much I try. I can get the lower channel on, but there is no way I can get it on with the stainless first installed.
If someone has a channel and can mic (micrometer) the INSIDE width at the top edge, I'd be very greatful. Then I can can compare it to mine and see if this is what is causing my problem.
It would also be helpful if someone could take a side shot of the channel so I could see the curvature.
