FINALLY! fIXED THE 56 DUEL FOUR PROBLEM!!
hey guys remember my problem with 56 vette after installing the 2x4 setup? Car would cut out at much more than idle speed. tried Everything! pulled sending unit went back thru carbs put 3 diff. fuel pumps on to no avail! Guess what? I had also installed a new ac fuel filter unit at same time. Turns out the place where the inlet and outlet on the fuel filter are had not been drilled all the way thru and only had an opening the size of a pin head on one end! This was severlly disrupting fuel flow!! Do you suppose corvette central would reimburse me for the mechincs bill!!.

I wouldn't count on reimbursement. I purchased an A/C compressor from them that locked up only 3 weeks after installation. They were very helpful and prompt about sending a replacement - but the $450 I was charged by my local mechanic for "freon recovery" and installation was absolutely refused.
