Default 64 Muncie date code

Did the 1964 Muncie 4 speed have a date code on the case? All I can find is the numbers 4115281 that indicate it came out of a 1964 with VIN # 115281.

Thanks for the input.

On the opposite side of the main case from where the serial number is stamped, there should be a date stamped. Here's mine on my 65.

Just took a close look at that spot and there is nothing stamped there.

The neat thing about this is the date should fit the engine assembly date as well. If you have the original engine I would bet it is stamped F0331xx or close
