Default Is this the right date for a engine on a December fifth 1964 built Corvette coupe

Is this a correct dated engine for my Decmber 6 1964 Corvette coupe?

Engine block is dated K213 a November built 1963? K for November and the number 3 for 1963? What is 21 in K213?

Is there anything more i should look for when it comes to markings and castings?

See pictures of the block

K213 woud mean it was cast the 21 of Nov of 1963. It would be correct for a Dec 64 built Corvette.

It's a language thing, you're both saying the same thing.

Roger,
I think everyone is meaning to say the same thing but yes your block dated Nov 21, 1963 would be correct for a 1964 Corvette built on December 5,1963

December 63 built, 64 coupe.

Putting the 1963 immediately before coupe is what's causing the confusion. Again it's just language, you have the correct answer.

Yes the block date would be correct for your 64 built in Dec. 63. But does the sin number on the block meet your options?

I have a December Vette block that was built on December 23rd (I think). Are you looking for a rebuilder? It even has the numbers still on the pad. What number are you looking for?

Thanks Yes i am just looking for a rebuilder block and if i find one with a RR suffix November 1963 built block that would be great
It must have the correct dates for my 1964 coupe that was built December the fifth 1963.
So when the December 23 1963 block was built i guess my car was on it way to the car dealership. But if it is a December 01 or 02 built block i could use it if it is not to close to the finnished build date of my car?
