The "clues" say solid-lifter big-block, although they could have been added; what year is it?

It's surprising how many people in all the forums post a question, have no profile filled out, and don't even tell you the year or body type their question is about. C5 is probably worse but it obviously happens in C1/C2 also.

So sorry. 1966 corvette coupe black on black.Came with a 66 427 engine.Broke the cam at the third journal.2 cyls were sleeved and had been decked.Engine rebuilder said no way he could fix because there was only about .004 left on the block. Bought a new GM crate 454.Came into some money and was looking to restore but I don't want to throw money away if it is not an original 427.
