Back to Frankie
Considering what shell and basket case asking prices were running, that was a midyear bargain. I got what I wanted for the hardtop, found out I could have made more, but still doubled what I paid for it.....Besides that, I would have to fill in the pool to expand the garage to make room for two hardtops......So I saved big bucks.

We went back on Saturday and the weather was sure cooperating.
I didn't have any luck with my quest for the 59 or 60 at both the auction and NCRS...still looking.
While we were talking to Mike, people were stopping by to make a withdrawal from the beer chest, then Tampa Jerry and his son Jeremy stop by to make a beer deposit! Very cool guys and I think Mike liked the gesture as well.
That's Mike on the right, Jerry on the left and the apprentice in the center.

Had a great time at Old Town and went over to Mecum Saturday night. Mecum was enormous. Prices were strong.
Nice to meet Frankie the Fink and see his great looking 61 .
Good to see Mike and Brett again

'67 Marina Blue 435HP South Carolina Survivor/Two guys from Long Island, NY. I really enjoyed looking at this car, so similar to mine. I promised to send pics to these guys and seem to have lost their email address. Any chance anyone else who was there would have their contact information please?
