Don't cha hate it when.....
Don't cha hate it when you are pulling up to a stop light and hear a metallic noise hit the pavement and not know if it came from you or the car in front of you?
I am thinking lug nut, clamp, bolt, cap to air stem on tire, nut from bumper.....
The car still doesn't overheat, doesn't pull to the side, all gauges work, air is still in the tires.....Who knows. I am pretty sure that I didn't leave any tools on the intake.
Knowing my luck, I ran over a piece of metal and it flipped up and landed back on the ground. It is amazing how keen the senses become for burning or heat after that. This drives me nuts.

Hate to admit it but I heard scraping the other day when I stopped at the auto parts store to get oil and filters.
Dreaded concrete stops on the parking lot. Another good reason to keep your license bracket on an early Corvette,better scrapes on the brackets than broken glass.

Found the problem!!!!
I was putting in my new Dewitt's radiator and notice a couple of shims missing on the right side A arm for the front end alignment. It must not be off too much.
