1966 tail light problem
Having problems with my right tail light socket. If I push and hold the bulb in it stays lit. When I release the pressure it goes out, like the spring is shot. Anyone ever replace the socket assembly?

Just lay on you back and reach up there. They turn counter clockwise (or clockwise if you are looking at it from the rear) to lock in place.

Check the spring in back of the contact board. I had to replace a couple of the springs due to breakage. I just spun the old ones out and installed new ones. I had a pair of less than driver quality to work with so I took the springs out of them. Just a thought.
