Default X pipe on under car exhaust?

Any that have found a x pipe that fit good on the under car exhaust for a C2?

Any muffler shop can add one right behind the trans. cross member where the pipes are only a few inches apart. I've seen several done that way.

I just had my exhaust installed. It is a Car Creations frame, but I would think the xpipe would work in the same position on a stock frame.

Here's a few pics:

Thanks Roger- I looked at the pic above mine and it appears the xpipe is very close to the same position as mine.

I didn't think my factory sides were loud enough to drown out Harleys so I added dumps to the block huger headers . now its obnoxious enough http://forums.corvetteforum.com/atta...1&d=1329774369

Like anything, I think it depends. Here is a pretty good article from Car Craft where they compared straight headers to an H-Pipe w/mufflers and then an X-pipe w/mufflers. The H-pipe had lower HP and TQ, while their X-Pipe setup had nearly the same HP/TQ as open headers with much lower DBs.

I like it because i think the x pipe sounds much better as well to the hp gain you get. But i have not decided if i want to do it

Interestingly, the X pipe also solves the problem of getting the exhaust system from the drive train centerline to the vehicle centerline!

I guessing you're not worried about needing a spare tire!

Nice set up!
