This weekend I replaced the rear spring on my 65 with a TRW unit. I was curious how much the old spring is worth, it has 10 leafs and the following stamp: 21-1023 362153
How much is scrap steel going for? That's all it's worth.

Now just a set of new tires for this years adventures......wore out the set I bought for the last trip....
To get back to this OP.....I had my car done at Palmer Spring Company and I have some great photos of an old fashion spring making shop....still owned by the same family 150 years later.
I will post it in a day or so....could be interesting to those seeking special springs for early GM and other cars....
