So you're saying, the block was poured, and engine was assembled, all in one week? What about dates on heads? Thanks!!!

I've seen block dates of Aug 15th, and assembly dates in Oct.. Example ebay item #330686874612. So are heads closer date to assembly?

The block and head casting dates can be anywhere from a day to several months prior to the stamped assembly date on the pad, although a couple of days to a couple of weeks is more "typical". Block and head dates typically will be different, and head dates won't necessarily match each other; nobody paid any attention to casting dates when the engine was assembled.
