If my 66 fiberglass had escaped the years of ravage and damage and cleaned up as nice as that, I would have left it unpainted too. Very nice.

Thanks, all I did was spray it with Castrol SuperClean and wipe it down. I did repaint the metal reinforcements their original colors though.

I am not sure which yrs came painted from the factory?

My 63 has only partial black out (firewall). The rest is the natural glass color.

None of them came painted. Only the fenderwells had the blackout paint and a small amount of undercoating.

That's really terrific and clean 1snake, had you posted these photos in black and white I'da thought that they were factory assembly line photos.

I got to tell you that has got to be the most beautiful virgin glass that I've ever seen. Sure wish my glass on the underside looked like that,no telling how much POR15 is on mine. My car has been nothing but surprises with bubba workmanship.

Should have found this Forum years before I bought my car.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. Those are just two examples of why I buy cars from the desert SouthWest. There isn't a speck of rust anywhere on either car.

I would like to, but last week when driving it down to Palm Springs the right rear wheel bearing failed, but it's really all the oil that was leaking out of the distributor drive seal during that trip, coating the under side. Well....it's not very pretty right now.

I used nothing more than Castrol SuperClean in a spray bottle, scrubbed it with a brush and hosed it off.
