I always enjoyed his posts. I just looked at one thread he started where he talked about appreciating life more after his heart attack. Maybe you can re-post that one here. Kind of weird to read it after he has passed away.

wasn't he the one with all the rare cars in a barn because he could not keep any of them running right when they were new so he went out and bought more

Yep that's the one. I don't know if Cape is talking about the same guy. I looked and found no thread about a heart attack. Shemp

Shemp, The thread is entitled "Happy Father's Day To Me", dated 6/17/07. In that thread he talks about the heart attack.

Also: I made a poor assumption that he had passed away . Hopefully he's still above ground with the rest of us

Happy Father's Day To Me ...

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yep, after a first heart attack, followed by a second, a while back, I'm still around . Not that anyone here could care less ... but I sure am pleased to celebrate this particular Father's Day ... and every day henceforth .

After those 'things', my perspective on life and what it means has most unequivocally changed ... the importance of treasuring close relationships ... getting pleasure from children, grandchildren, family and friends. Advice: be kind and respectful in all you do, listen to what another person has to say ... be an objective person ... not a subjective people with expressing animosity and/or judgement or ambivalence .

Yes, in deed ... I'm happy to be here!! .

Best Regards,

PeteZ .

He's why we can only find 14 of the original 16 L-89's (ignoring the other 50 that have been "created" ); he bought one new and it "ran like crap", so he parked it and bought another one. It also "ran like crap", so he parked that one too.

I cant speak for the accuracy of his claims regarding cars owned or time spent in the music industry, but I DO know he put a lot of effort into trying to help me solve my epic dash light short problem.

For that I am most appreciative.
