Well....let's see. $7K-$10K deduct for NOM engine. $10k-$12K for paint. Those are obvious, in-your-face issues that are readily apparent. Do you want to guesstimate another $10K to get everything else in order?

You can buy nice squared away examples all day long for $40K-$45K.

$15-$20K. Clean it up and drive it. The paint will put you under water from the get-go. Don't fall into a trap. These things cost a lot more money than you think to refurb.

I am reminded of a line from the movie, Body Heat, where an ex-con, who is trying to help a friend kill his lover's husband, tells William Hurt: There are 60 ways your can screw up the perfect murder---and if you are a genius, you might be able to think of 15.....

The same goes for resurrecting barn finds. For everything one thing that you see that needs work, there are probably five potential issues that go undetected.
