C2 Softtop Spacing at Windows Prior to Weather strip
Does the spacing I have around my windos look right before I install the weatherstripping around the windows? (Sorry, I didn't polish the window before taking the shot )

The gap between the top edge of the window and the frame looks way too big to me. The spec is in the AIM, but I don't remember off-hand which page. Looks like the frame needs to come in at the bottom on the back edge of the window, but that might just be the picture angle.
I just went through this on my 1966. You'll never get it perfect.
Good luck,
Rick L.

You need to install the weatherstrip before alligning the top to the windows. It is a little extra work to get a perfect fit. You may find that you will have to adjust the latches on the deck lid to move the vertical side rails in. PM me if you need any help.

We adjusted my windows to the hardtop first and got real good fit. Of course, the softtop gaps are not the same, and are not as good.

As others have said it's easier if you have a hardtop to adjust the door, vent window and window to the top. Then you adjust the soft top and weather striping to the window. Then no matter what top you have on the car it works. If you don't have a hardtop I would say borrow one...
