'59 Corvette in-car camera around Sebring this past weekend (VIDEO ENCLOSED)
Hey gang,
Thought I'd take this opportunity to share a video clip with you from this past weekends 12 Hours of Sebring SVRA event. We took the '59 Corvette down to enjoy the Vintage races this weekend, I just finished uploading some video from my new GoPro Hero2 camera (quality is amazing - see for yourself!). Here's the link to the Sprint Race that was held on Friday: HD Video - Sebring Sprint Race.
Here's a pic of the car as well:
Enjoy the ride,
Lance

Great video. I am a driver coach with an ALMS team and my girlfriend and I thought this was the neatest GT car in the vintage group at Sebring, well driven too Kind of funny to see how early these old cars needed to get whoaed down compared to modern brakes and tires.
Thanks for sharing!

The GREATEST thing about that video is that it didn't have a bunch of GD music dubbed in it!!!!!!!!
Sooooooooooo many idiots these days just insist on ruining potentially great videos by drowning out the TRUE music with a bunch of dubbed in music, and usually its obnoxious hard rock music.
I commend you for not spoiling a great video!!!!!!!!!!!

I've a general policy that if I hear music when I hit a website, I close it our immediately,,,,,unless I've specifically selected a site to listen to music.
This and websites that select color combinations for their background and text that clash and make them improbable or impossible to read are among the dumbest mistakes that are made all to often by those who should know better but don't.
Now a 59 Vette going thru the gears with an open exhaust on a race track, this is real music.

Drum brakes are interesting... we wanted to keep the car 'real'.

There's no better music than the sound of the motor pulling in the high RPM's
Cheers,

Thanks for the ride Lance Nothing like taking a purpose built solid axle out on the track and getting a little sideways

Wow! Thanks for sharing the video. in the beginning it looked like the porsches were bumping each other.
I always wanted to take my car out to thunderhill though I do not have a hardtop or a rollbar.
