63 SWC Carter AFB Float Adjust
I wanted to ask this before I reinstalled the carb.
I just stripped, dipped, cleaned and rebuilt the stock Carter AFB 4bbl on my 63.
My mind is in thought..............................
Here is the question:
The paper that came with the kit say's that when the floats are hanging down there should be (with the gasket on) 1 1/4 inch +/- 1/4 inch of space.
The factory service manual in the fuel/Carb Carter AFB rebuild section says to give it 3/4 of an inch. I went with the factory Chevrolet manual.
Can I get an experienced answer?
