Default Transportting with no rear end

Looking at a 66 coupe with rolling front tires but the entire rear suspension is out of the car. Any suggestions for transporting the vehicle as is for a distance of 10 miles? thanks

Short of man handling the back end while it's being loaded you will need to build something with wheels to attach the the rear cross member.

If you choose the man handling option just shore it up and secure it once you have it in place on the trailer.

Your best option would be to show up with some wood and casters than build a temp frame that was bolted to the rear cross member.

Go to Harbor Freight and pick up a cheap furniture dolly. Without the IRS it will be pretty light.

If the exhaust panel is removed, I don't know why a common tow truck with a boom couldn't pick it up easily and deliver it to your door.

Otherwise, a two wheel tow dolly, a few blocks of wood under the differential crossmember and some tie down straps should take care of your problem.

Steal the idea (but not the wheels) from this guy

Seriously - I like the Harbor Freight / Furniture dolly idea.
