Default C2 Restomod Question

Has anyone ever used a stock C5 radiator with their LS motor in a C2 corvette? Just wondering if their would be any issues? Thanks

If it fit the stock radiator mount that would be a miracle. I bought a BB radiator mount from Coffman Corvette and the radiator from DeWitts configured for LS motor.....

The BB radiator support kicks the bottom end forward away from the rack and pinion in the SRIII chassis.

I have built several C2 Resto mods (see link below) and we use a radiator designed for us by Saldana Racing in Brownsburg Indiana. We modified the hood hinge design so that we could use a C5 style air intake. Let me know what you think.

Default Resto Mod C2

We originally designed this so that the LS engines we were installing in C1 & C2 Resto Mods could get cold, fresh air like the modern Corvettes. The automation is icing on the cake, you can still use the hood hinge design with a standard C1 or C2 hood release. Call me at 219-588-7057 if you need an assist.

I have built a few restomods, and I can echo Firrstgear's comments. I use a big block support with a Dewitt radiator. Tom's radiators are excellent quality, and his radiators cool better than any of the other brands that I used to use.
