vacuum problem
On my 66 427 i replaced the original carb with a universal holley
because of some running issues.
I have 15# of vacuum from intake manifold but only 6 or 7 from ports
on carb why is this to operate vacuum advance properly i hooked
a line to manifold port to vacuum advance seems to run pretty good?

If there is a vacuum port below the throttle blades that you can hook to, it should be pulling the same vacuum as from the manifold. Most carbs have both a ported and a non-ported vacuum source. Since this is a non-specific Holley replacement it may not.
