Its like looking at a picasso or rembrandt masterpeice in awe and seeing it signed down the bottom by Ronald Mcdonald.
I know Rally Wheels arent correct for a 66, but its going to get them anyway, i think they will look much better.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts
Car was imported by an importer, I first looked at it 6-8 months ago and passed as i thought it was well over priced.....
The car was stuck in my mind, and i looked at a few plain jane red small block cars, but this car kept creeping back into my thoughts, so i rung the dealer and made an offer that they immediatly rejected....
A week passed and they came back, and a deal was struck.
The paint and body is certainly not the best by a long shot, but i picked the car up for the price of a cheap small block car with similar paint and body, so i'll get the paint sorted this winter.
It is a numbers matching 427/390hp.
Dont get me wrong, the paint and body make it a solid 10 footer car, but up close there are some problems.
I have intentions to fit power steering, power brakes and a 5spd conversion. It may be blasphemy, to change a few things from original, but i intend to drive this car A LOT, and i'll make it returnable to stock.
I have temporarily fitted an early C3 steering wheel to gain a bit more room until i can find something to suit the interior better, the original teak wheel has a much larger "dish" to it. Eventually i hope to find something in teak thats almost flat.
Im really chuffed with the car, and love driving it.
