Absent an original window sticker and tank sticker on a '67 convertible, is there any way to confirm the original color of the convertible top and whether sidepipes are original to the car? Does the trim tag reveal anything about the original top color?
Speaking of top colors, I can't believe some of the combinations available in '67. I cannot get my mind wrapped around the image of MM paint with a teal blue top, or Sunfire Yellow with a teal top, or red with a teal top . Anyone ever seen those color combos out in the wild?

I don't think there is any wat to tell without the sticker. I beleave you could get any of the color tops with ant paint. I did see a 67 Red corvette with a teal blue interior with a whit soft top. Original owner was a judge & wanted a red/white & blue Corvette. It was not that bad looking.

No way to tell about the top color, without a window or tank sticker.
In most cases, with a thorough inspection, you can tell if sidepipes were added or factory installed.
I'm not interested in having a car judged but, out of curiosity, would I be correct that you could present a '67 convertible for judging with any of the 3 available top colors that year and would not be "called out" on it?
