Default Rear wiring harness

My 1965 convertible rear wiring harness must have twenty or more wire connector splices in it and a few that are just twisted wire. It works , but it looks horrible and it's bugging the heck out of me . So, how difficult is it for a moron and his idiot helper to replace ? I found a lectric limited rear harness for a reasonable price and thought I'd give it a try. Any suggestions? Phil

You should be able to handle it with no problem. If you do have a problem, there's a lot of help here on the Forum. Running the wires is the hard part and the rest is just plugging in the connectors. One suggestion though, remove the driver's seat.

Order the rubber grommet that goes through the body because the old one will be as hard as a rock and crumple when you remove the old harness. Its two hole because one is for the harness, the other is for the Radio Antenna cable
