I have 2 or 3 tiny bubbles on my driver fender. They have been there since I bought it (3yrs). Other than two hairline cracks at the headlights. It's a excellent paint job. I don't plan on them fixing anytime soon. It's a driver and you can't have perfect black paint on a driver IMO.
I know they are both real common issues. I have read all the threads on guys "chasing the dragon" with 2 or 3 repaints and the bubbles still come back.
I was thinking why not drill the bubble clean through and fill the hole?
Effectively removing the oil contaminated glass.
Has anybody tried this method and did it work?

I have encountered this before and the only way I was able to get rid of them was to take the area down to bare fiberglass. Let it sit in sun for a week or so. After primer another week in sun. They never came back. Hope this helps
