Show detailing tips?
Just got an email confirmation that the 67 was chosen as one of the display cars for the Orion Music + More Fesival in Atlantic City this June. I know there are some guys on here that have been in exclusive shows, so I was hoping to get some pointers on detailing. I'll be driving the car there, and plan on finding a car wash, then doing the final detail on site. Or would I be better off detailing it at home, and just touching up on site?

Most that do major shows trailer their cars because of issues from driving (chips etc,). If it's not too awfully far and you're driving and weather allows totally detail before and when you get there nit pick it. If the weather is bad and you have to drive it you have no other choice but wait and do it.

It's about a 2 1/2 hour ride from my house to the venue. I guess the weather for that weekend will ultimately dictate how I handle it, as it's an outdoor show. I was thinking of having the car professionally detailed the Fri before, and driving down on Sat. Doing whatever touchup needs to be done once I'm there. Still trying to decide on these 2 questions tho.
