There is still a lot of work to do on the car but our goal is to have it done and drive it to the NCM for the next Nation Wide Caravan in 2014. My friends from Austria will be coming over and one of them (Jochen) will be riding in it with me in the Caraven. If they let me in the Caravan with it. There will not be pic posted all the time because of some of the work that is being done on it we do not want everyone to see howit is being totally done. There will be more pic posted soon. Black Magic is built an outstanding web site for this build and I just want to Thank him for doing so. Lord knows I would have know idea how to do it.
Thanks George, you are the man.

There goes the in-door cooler for the beer.
I've been talking to some past owners of early Corvette and found out that a lot used the spare tire well for keeping their beer on ice and some even used the soft top compartment also.
Keep up the good work!

Matter a fact yes it does put me over the 3 Corvette limit, but because it is not at home she forgets about it. Ha Ha Ha. As far as loosing the door pockets or glove box as many people called them I am not a Beer drinker anyway but I have put several bottles of Jack and Makers in the rear wells in the trunk below the tail lights. Just wrap them in something soft and the fit just fine in there. I took several bottles over to Canada in 2004 for the NCRS event that way in my other 54 Vette. It sure beat paying there high price for a bottle of good stuff.

most people may think that we are not doing much on the car when infact we really are. Remember we only work on it one day a week and there are a lot of custom things that have to be done to the body before moving on. I will also will not be able to work on it for 2 weeks in July because visiting friends.
After all the body work is done then we will make a MOLD off of the top and rear suround and have it all in 1 piece. then from that mold we will make a new top for the car. This we will never have to worry about the top seperating or paint cracking from where it is attached to the body when the car would flex, because it will all be one piece. Enjoy the build.

Thanks Paul but we are working on the car about 1 day a week when we get to it. Thanks for the offer. You can send them when it is time to sand it all down to a glass finish. Ha Ha Ha.
