Does anybody have pictures of the interior roll bar/interior of 58-62 corvettes WITH a hardtop? I am building mine and I dont want to butcher the car. I have checked google for seibring cars and a few other corvette race cars from the era but have very found the same pictures but nothing that really shows the placement.

Does the bar have to be legal for any sanctioning bodies??
There is a company that sells a roll bar/cage kit for the C1, S&W Race Cars, located near Pittsburgh (I think). I purchased one of their kits and had to redo several of the pieces in order to get it to fit in my '59. The main hoop was not as tall as I wanted and the piece that runs behind the seats (harness bar) was straight and would have required running it through the glove box fiberglass between the seats. In my case I would have been better off starting from scratch rather than buying the kit.
Sorry its taken me so long to respond- Yes, it does have to meet SVRA regulations but they are very general since I'm fitting a hardtop. "As close to the top as you can" and I'm using 1.75x .120 DOM mild steel.
I was able to find a local shop to make the hoop for me out of 1 piece and I guess I will try to make the remainder of the 4 points myself.
