I took the headlights out in order to paint the car. I'm now trying to put them back in, and having a tough time with the gaps. Do you think I could enlarge the six holes in the fender support in order to improve the gaps toward the rear of the buckets without causing other problems?

Car already painted? We do all of that stuff before paint. Thats the reason the factory painted with the buckets already mounted.

You can slot holes, no problem.
