Default Indicator Lights

Hey everyone, new to this forum. 1963 split window questions, wondering if you all can be of assistance.

1)there is a red circle indicator light in the middle of the dash, below the headlights indicator. Only done it once but while driving after replacing head gasket, it flashed for about 30 seconds and then went away. There is some wiring done by the previous owner that I'm not happy with so in steps, we are looking into that. Not even sure what that light means.

2)the headlights won't come up any more. I can hear a "click" up there, telling me power should be getting to the front, but no movement, no noise, anything. I believe there are two motors, but wondering if that's usually the problem or if it could be something else. Thanks for your help!

If I'm thinking of the same circle you are, it's the "bright" indicator for the headlights. If both headlights don't move, I'd check the ground up front or the rollover switch for corrosion. Run a good ground first and see if they move.

Thanks, yeah it's the red circle right in the middle of the dash. Only little red circle I know of on there.
